Hello! My name is Cecelia Arrison, more commonly known as Cece. I’m from Ascutney, Vermont, although I went to high school in Claremont, New Hampshire. Prior to college I did 14 years of gymnastics in both states. I started diving when I joined the team last year. My favorite dive on 3 meter is a back 1.5 straight or a front 2.5 pike. On 1 meter my favorite dive is an inward 1.5 pike!

I’m a sophomore at Smith where I live in Capen house. I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Exercise & Sports Studies. Away from the pool I like to bake (pie mostly). I like to read or watch movies, hanging with friends, and doing or coaching gymnastics. I like diving because I like extreme sports. I’ve been wake surfing, zip-lining, done acrobatic gymnastics, and gone hang gliding. I love the team and am so excited for the ’13/14 season!

Hi everyone! My name is Olivia Bannon, and I’m one of the co-captains for the 2013-2014 season.

I’m originally from Amherst, Massachusetts, but right now I live in Northern CA in a small city called Placerville. I transferred to Smith aftercompleting my first year at Syracuse University, and here at Smith I’m a Psychology major and ESS minor. So far I don’t have any post-grad plans, so we’ll see what the future holds!

My events are primarily the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke, but I also swim the 200 IM and sprint free from time to time. Backstroke and I are not on the best of terms, but we’re working on it.

Outside of the pool I enjoy playing with puppies, going on adventures, doing yoga, anything active, hanging out with friends, and watching bad TV. I am so, so excited for another fantastic season with the Wild Bunch!!

Hayley Bezubka ’14

Hey everyone my name is Hayley Bezubka and I’m one of the co-captains for the 2013-14 season! I’m a senior majoring in Economics & Government and am excited to put my Smith education to good use after graduating (but I still have NO idea what I’d like to do with my life!) I’m from the smallest state in the US, Rhode Island and am from North Kingstown. My home away from home is Parsons House (located near the Friedman apartments) where I’ve lived for all four years.

I began as a sprint freestyler swimming the 50 and 100 but have grown affectionate for the 200 as well! I don’t usually swim other strokes (because up until this point I’ve swam breaststroke illegally) but I guess I’d swim backstroke (or fly?!) if I had to choose another stroke!

In my free time I love to play volleyball—especially in the summer, cook/bake, go hiking and be around my friends and family. I cannot wait to see how the Wild Bunch improves and grows as a “bunch of bananas” as the season progresses. I know there are many great things to come!
